General Information

• The Paris World Games is one of the world's most important sports festivals. It is a major sports festival held every July in Paris, with more than 10,000 athletes from 70 countries. Athletes competing in football, basketball, handball, rugby and badminton also experience an unforgettable festival.
• This year, between 26 and 29 June, the Paris World Games basketball tournament has created a special Camp + Tournament program. This program combines training done together with basketball players from various countries and an international tournament.
• At the camp organisation held between 25 and 30 June, morning training will be given by French coaches to mixed international groups.
• There is a minimum of 4 matches at the tournament held on 27–28 June. The tournaments have been held for 10 years at the end of June and the beginning of July. Open to football, basketball, handball, rugby and badminton clubs. During the tournament, athletes can move around freely with a Paris public-transport ticket, and visits are made to the famous museums of Paris and the world. The opening and closing of the games take place on the sports court beneath the famous Eiffel Tower. During the 5-night, 6-day tournament, teams play at least 4 matches. Tournament hotels are available in many different categories. There is a hotel option to suit every price level. A Schengen visa is required for France.

The Paris World Games is held in Paris, the capital of France.

Facilities

In many different parts of Paris, there are over 100 accommodation alternatives in different categories, from student dormitories to 4* hotels. You can be sure you will find accommodation to suit your needs.

For each discipline, athletes will play a minimum of 3-4 or 5 matches (depending on the discipline) at indoor sports halls (basketball, handball) and on grass pitches in different parts of Paris.

A highly professional tournament awaits you, with referees and technical staff from different parts of the world.

Transfer

After the flight to Paris, our teams will make their airport–hotel transfers by transfer vehicles. Transfers between the hotel and the match venues will be made by public transport (metro).

Tournament Details

The tournament will be held on 27 June and 28 June, and each team will be guaranteed 4 matches. Matches will be played under FIBA rules, in periods of 4x6 min.
